A good friend of mine spoke me into doing a series of Top 10 articles on South East Asia. The first article will be on my Top 10 Islands in the region.
The temples of Angkor. Wow! The collection of temples made me wish I was born a few centuries ago to be amongst one of the few to have discovered them. They’re gobsmackingly beautiful. Most of them were being built around 900AD and are still standing. Quite a feat when you think that the average skyscraper in China only lasts 20 years!
I’m the guy that is always 10 minutes early for everything. I’m not the guy that misses a bus or a plane. I’m never late for a meeting and I try to know my plan, know the duration of a trip, and know when to get off a bus. This went pear-shaped enroute to Battambang, however.
I’ve just arrived back to mainland Cambodia after spending a few days on Koh Rong Samloem… a tropical island an hour off the coast.
